A note from our Director of Worship Ministries...

The desire and passion of my heart for our music ministry at Trinity is to create, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the gathered musicians, an environment which first of all invites and welcomes God to be the center and focus of our worship, and secondly, to invite and encourage  the worshipers into His presence.  Whether we have 25 people or 125 people at a worship service, the first person I want to be there is God!  Once He shows up, then I know we're on the right track.

Our 8:30/traditional service is musically led by an extremely gifted choir.  We sing traditional hymns and the choir offers an anthem at the offertory.  When I sit on the organ bench and look into this choir, I know I'm looking into the eyes of people who dearly love the Lord and have offered themselves selflessly over the years that we have been together.

At the 11:00/contemporary worship service, we still use Rite II out of the Book of Common Prayer.  We lead the worship, however, with the best that contemporary Christian music today has to offer.  We've only been having this service for about a year and a half now, but the praise team that leads worship is definitely among the best!  (No, I'm not biased.)   This team consists of a piano, guitars, vocals and drums.  As with our choir, this group of musicians is a talented and dedicated bunch of people who sing their hearts out to Jesus.

I pray that you will join us for worship at Trinity.  I think that you will find that you've been in the presence of the Lord, that we offer our best and, that you'll leave humming either a great old hymn or one of your favorite "new" hymns.

God's Peace,
Lydia
